Scott Thornbury is a freelance writer and teacher trainer. He has published numerous methodology books on grammar, speaking, vocabulary and discourse analysis.
At the moment he is working on an ELT Dictionary Encyclopedia. His research focuses in particular on the following areas: discourse analysis, classroom interaction, second language acquisition, and the relationship between them all.
