After a violent storm Viola is separated from her twin brother Sebastian and shipwrecked on the island of Illyria. She disguises herself as a boy and enters into the service of Duke Orsino who sends her to court Olivia for him. But Olivia falls for Viola instead while Viola becomes infatuated with the duke.
